Neue Pixel is a pixel typeface design and developed by M35. Its proportions are based on Helvetica Neue LT Std 55 Roman. The rudimentary forms contrast with the neutrality of Helvetica Neue, whilst the matching proportions of Neue Pixel’s cap height and x-height allow the characters of either font to be applied interchangeably.

Originally released in 2018, the 2022 revised and expanded family is now available in three cuts — Regular, Round and Ultra Round — born from studio experiments in redrawing the square-pixel forms with rounded corners.
